A contemplative video of Kaleo House worship:
More than 50 students from Episcopal Churches in Utah and Arizona visited the Kaleo House last Thursday for house tours, outdoor projects, bocce ball, Zankou Chicken and then, of course, a most Holy Eucharist.

The Kaleo House community has happily welcomed a new housemate, John Ferguson a.k.a. “Scottie.” Hailing from Azusa Pacific University, Scottie brings award-winning musical talent to the house.
We’re mostly just happy that he’s befriended Jesus. (Although Jesus doesn’t look all that thrilled.)

Father George Woodward of St. Edmund’s in San Marino joined the Kaleo House and the Keaneys for burritos, root beer, mint chip ice cream, dark chocolate pecan cookies and then a Holy Eucharist. He shared his experience with his own intentional community back in the day when he had a haircut not too different from Ed’s. We talked about the ups and downs of communal living. And then Josh and Mel wrote “Kaleo House” in arabic on our wall. Thanks for the prayers, wisdom and laughter.

Call 949-243-0861 if you are interested in living in a Christian intentional community in Glendale, CA for $417 a month. Read our About page for more information.
We have a new member of the Kaleo House community who can get away with not paying rent, mostly because he’s a cute little bunny.

but he will have to pay a monthly tithe since he’s eating Ed’s share of the grass
Family and friends from St. Mark’s, Church of Our Saviour and All Saints blessed the Kaleo House with their warm presence today. Ping-pong, fuseball, slushies, chocolate fondue, Apples-to-Apples, volleyball and s’mores made the Kaleo House Warming party a real blast.
Thanks for coming, friends! Our walls are literally covered with your artistic blessings. You are welcome back anytime, especially for Thursday night worship. Same goes for those who couldn’t make it.
